A History & New Beginnings
In 2020, during the uncertainty of a world reshaped by COVID, Monarch Media emerged as a content creation agency built for survival in a rapidly shifting landscape.
Its purpose was clear: help businesses remain visible when everything else felt like it was disappearing.
For three years, Monarch Media operated in that space—offering graphic design, website development, and digital content with a distinct approach. While much of the industry leaned on sterile, predictable visuals, Monarch Media embraced something louder. Sharper. More deliberate.
The work stood out.
That difference translated into opportunity. Clients were secured. A reputation was formed. Monarch Media became known for visuals that refused to blend into the background.
But over time, the direction no longer aligned with the creative force behind it.
By 2023, Monarch Media was quietly dissolved—not through failure, but through a shift in focus. The structure remained, but its purpose no longer applied.
For a time, the name sat dormant.
Now, in 2026, Monarch Media returns.
Not as an agency.
Not as a service.
But as a publisher.
The same energy that once fueled client work has been redirected—no longer shaped by external needs, but by internal vision. Monarch Media now exists to develop and promote gritty, independent comic properties that reject convention in favor of identity.
The first of these is Blackout Jack.
A chaotic, violent, and unfiltered series centered around a space-faring, drunken rabbit with a remarkable ability to survive increasingly catastrophic decisions. It is not clean. It is not restrained. It was never meant to be.
It exists because it should.
Beyond that, the groundwork is already forming.
Additional titles are in development. Some louder. Some darker. Each one distinct, yet unified under a single principle:
Create something that cannot be ignored.
There is no rigid roadmap.
No polished projection of what comes next.
Only a clear direction—and the decision to follow it without compromise.
Monarch Media is active once again.
This is where it begins.
